Ryan “Legs” Léger is not your typical drummer. While most musicians tend to stick to a certain genre or style of music, Legs has made a career out of touring and recording with professional acts
of conflicting sounds.

Growing up in Cornwall, Ontario he began playing in metal bands, but fresh out of high school he was offered his first touring opportunity with a local ska band bringing him across the eastern coast of Canada and out of his musical comfort zone.

In 2004 Legs moved to Toronto, Ontario where he began his career as a session drummer playing many different styles of music including hard rock, pop, metal, punk, r&b and reggae. He would be opening up for Kalan Porter (Canadian Idol) with Skye Sweetnam (Capitol/EMI); playing the Vans Warped Tour with The Salads (Warner Music) all the while headlining tours with Dead and Divine (Distort) within the same year.

Legs has toured across Canada and the United States more times than he can remember. He has also toured Asia, Europe, South America and Australia several times and the list continues to grow.

Here are just a few of the acts Ryan “Legs” Léger has toured, recorded, or played for:

Skye Sweetnam (Capitol/EMI)
The Salads (Warner Music)
Dead and Divine (Distort)
Mike Slute (EMI Publishing)
Ashley “Ashes” Coulter (Canadian Idol)
Every Time I Die (Epitaph)

In between current tours and recordings he is always looking for new challenges so feel free to contact him for touring/recording availability and rates. Please see Contact page for more info.
